Listening Hands - a day Workshop

People often ask me, “Aren’t you tired after your sessions?” My answer is always no — I actually feel nourished and more present. For me, it’s like a meditation. With touch.

I would love to share more about this through a full-day journey, inspired by Shiatsu and Reiki.

We’ll begin by arriving in our own bodies with movement and playful somatic explorations. From there, you’ll learn floor-based bodywork techniques and be guided through a nourishing full-body sequence — one you’ll both give and receive. The focus is on non-forcing, holding space, and cultivating presence. Touch becomes soft, meditative, and deeply connecting — supporting the receiver as much as the giver.

You’ll leave with practical techniques, as well as more confidence and joy in offering mindful touch.

What to Expect:

  • Somatic practices to awaken body awareness and sensitivity

  • Principles of Shiatsu: working from your center, not your muscles

  • Floor-based bodywork techniques that release tension with gentleness

  • A complete guided full-body sequence to give and receive

  • Space for rest, reflection, and integration throughout the day

Who It’s For:

  • Yoga teachers wishing to offer supportive touch in Yin, Restorative, or Savasana

  • Bodyworkers curious to explore Shiatsu-inspired techniques and the art of “doing less”

  • Caregivers who want to include soothing, mindful touch into their practice

  • Anyone interested in touch as a language of presence, connection, and acceptance

Every body is welcome — no prior experience needed.
